This nutritional certification course is designed to enhance doctors' appreciation of the nutrition's role in health maintenance, disease prevention and supporting body metabolism in fighting disease.

The Society for Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia (SAHAMM) in collaboration with the Australian College of Medical Nutrition will be embarking on 2 different programs​.
The nutritional certification courses offered are:

1. The Certification and Masters Program in Nutritional Medicine and
2. The Nutritional Certification Advanced Program (Fellowship).

Both the programs will consist of 6 modules. The first two programs were successfully held in March 2018 and June 2018 and the next one will be held in September 2018 followed by Modules 4, 5 & 6 which will be held in the months of March, June and September 2019 respectively.

Datuk Dr. Selvam Rengasamy  M.B.B.S. (Madras),

Datuk Dr. Selvam Rengasamy

Datuk Dr. Selvam has been practicing medicine for the past 36 years and has been an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for the past 28 years. He has taken an active interest in treating his patients holistically. His approach using Integrative Medicine with Nutritional and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy has helped many patients to heal themselves.


He is the President of the Society for Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia (SAHAMM) and also Board Certified Anti-Aging Physician from American Academy of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) and International Hormone Society (IHS). He speaks at international and local conferences and is a regular speaker at A5M, Australia. His ongoing study is on Thyroid Disorders in Pregnancy.


He is actively involved in training doctors in Hormone Therapy and Nutritional Medicine. He strongly believes that doctors should equip themselves with knowledge in these fields so that they will be able to identify and treat the underlying cause of the disease rather than a drug based symptomatic treatment.


Dr. Ashley Berry  MBBS, Grad Dip. Clin. Nutr. (UNE)

Dr. Berry

Graduated from UNSW in 1979. His major interest is nutrition / complementary medicine. He believes that most chronic illnesses can be improved through a nutritional focus: CFS, fibromyalgia, cancer prevention and treatment, diabetes, heart disease, insulin resistance, IBS and hormonal problems. He has been tutoring medical students from the University of NSW since 1999 and running workshops for various nutritional companies, including ACMN for the past 7 years. Dr. Berry completed a Grad Dip. Clin. Nutrition (UNE) in 2003.


Dr. Karel Hromek  BMed, BSc, FACNEM, FACRRM, FINMA

Dr. Karel Hromek is a Medical Practitioner in Mullumbimby NSW, who has long specialised in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (NEM) together with mind-body medicine / psychoneuroimmunology. His practice focuses on holistic medicine and embraces nutritional medicine, allergy / sensitivity, chelation therapy, injectable nutrient therapy, and environmental and gastrointestinal assessment.


Dr. Karel graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of NSW in 1973, majoring in microbiology and ecology, and worked for the NSW Department of Agriculture as a research scientist on the far north coast of NSW.


Dr. Karel completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and also of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). He was granted an honorary fellowship of the Indian Nutritional Medical Association (INMA) for helping to bring NEM to India and is a current member of the INMA faculty.


Dr. Karel is a very popular, engaging lecturer and facilitator, who has taught NEM – especially chelation therapy and injectable nutrient therapies to medical practitioners throughout Australia and New Zealand for over twenty years. He is a past-president of ACNEM and an integral member of their Education Committee.


In recent years, together with his wife Ann-Mary, Dr. Karel has helped set up NEM associations in India, Malaysia, and Thailand, regularly teaching doctors in these countries. He is the author of three medical texts: “Injectable Nutrients”, “Handbook of Chelation Therapy” and “Nutrient Summaries” and has had many articles published in the field of NEM.


Dr. Baljit Singh Kaulsay  MD

Dr. Baljit graduated from UKM in 1990. He is the full-time Doctor and sole proprietor of Klinik Kaulsay at Medan Damansara for the past 18 years.

He is a lifetime member of SAHAMM, and has attended many courses in Hormone and Nutritional therapy. He has a certificate in Nutritional Medicine and is working towards his masters in the same area.


He offers numerous treatment options for various illnesses based upon patient’s biochemistry as well as Epigenetic DNA profiles. He has a special interest in Autoimmune disorders, Metabolic syndrome and related metabolic health issues, as well as mental health issues, and frequently treats these and many other disorders without the use of pharma chemical drugs.


Dr. Sangeet Kaur  M.B.B.S (M'glore), Dip. In Derm. (Cardiff)

Dr Sangeet Kaur is a firm believer in using a holistic approach to treat underlying medical conditions which deter patients from living the life they were meant to live. As a qualified and certified practitioner in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) since 2005, Dr Sangeet has supported numerous patients regain their youthful vigour and vitality. Her philosophy: nutrition, optimum hormones, exercise, stress reduction and supplements/minerals form the five pillars of wellness and good health.


Dr Sangeet was a Senior Primary Care & Anti-Ageing Physician at Global Doctors in Kuala Lumpur. With an MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1997, Dr Sangeet specialised in Practical Dermatology with a Postgraduate Diploma from Cardiff University in Wales in 2007, Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from AARAM in 2008, and underwent a Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at Ramathibodu Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand in 2009.


Further sub-specialisation in 2010, led to a Diploma in Ageing and Regenerative Medicine from the American board of Anti-Ageing Health Practitioners and Board certification in Advanced Hormone Therapy from the International Hormone Society in Belgium in 2012. She has recently obtained her Masters in Nutritional Medicine from the Society for Advancement of Hormones & Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia (SAHAMM) in collaboration with the Australian College of Medical Nutrition.


Dr Sangeet is a current and active member of the Society for Advancement of Hormones & Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia (SAHAMM), Society for Anti-Aging Aesthetic Regenerative Medicine Malaysia (SAAARMM) and the Australian College of Nutrition & Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).

Cancellations and Refund Policy

  1. Cancellations received in writing on or before 22nd August 2018 will be refunded less a 30% administrative fee. No refunds will be made after that date.
  2. Participants who register their names and indicates payment is on site, but do not turn up on the day of the event will be required to pay 40% of the course fee.
  3. Substitute participants will not be accepted either.
